The Fourth of July was a big success and the weatherman was good to us. Everyone enjoyed all the activities.  We had a parade, fireworks, buffalo BBQ, classic car show, baseball, swimming, picnics, silent auctions, book sales and more. Lots of fun.

Our pair of resident Loons are still doing well and the single chick is growing up fast. It is about 2/3 grown now and has started diving and fishing lessons from mom & dad. They are still feeding it however.

The bald eagle has been active and has been spotted by many. If you know the warning call of the loons and hear it, just look in the sky and you will see the eagle.

Fishing has been pretty good with bass, panfish and a few walleye being caught.

The water is warm and the beach has been busy with swimmers.
