The year has almost drawn to a close and the winter started out with a blast of Artic Air.  Our low for this season has been Minus 5 degrees and our lake has about 5" of ice on it.  I was out ice fishing today and others have been out there for several weeks. A few brave souls have been across on snow machines. Shanties have popped up in various locations.  USE EXTREME CAUTION on the ice. Bigger lakes are still unsafe. Ski conditions at the various hills have been excellent with great bases. Cross country ski activity has been good. Come on up north and join the winter fun.
